Responsibilities, Duties & Accountabilities: As a Retail Sales Associate, you will: Engage with customers to identify sales opportunities and enhance their shopping experience. Utilize your product knowledge to support sales efforts and make product recommendations. Provide alternative product suggestions to meet customer needs. Contribute to achieving store sales goals. Operate cash registers and other point-of-sale (POS) equipment proficiently. Handle monetary transactions accurately, including cash and credit/debit card payments. Keep the store orderly through cleaning, stocking, and organization. Assist in managing quality control and maintaining product standards. Support inventory control and report security concerns as needed. Participate in company training, team meetings, and development sessions. Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers while collaborating effectively with teammates and management. Adhere to all store and company policies and procedures. Maintain professional appearance and hygiene, and demonstrate attendance and punctuality. Perform additional duties as assigned. Position Requirements and Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years old. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Minimum of one (1) year retail sales or customer service experience preferred. Ability to lift at least 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods, with or without accommodation. Demonstrate capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Work well independently as well as part of a team. Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
