Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits and features. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are stocked appropriately. Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained. Assist in training and supervising new staff members as needed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize basic math skills for transactions, inventory management, and retail math calculations. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance customer interactions. You must have your own reliable vehicle in which can be parked out front of the shop while working. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. To be successful as a Sales Associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store's visual appearance in high standards including restocking and font facing products as well as keeping up with shop cleanliness.
