Enhance the customer shopping experience in a collaborative environment as a cashier or stocker. As a team member, you'll operate registers or machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job with daily variety. Position Details: Part-time Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00 | Year 3 - $19.50| Year 4 - $19.50| Year 5 - $20.50 Key Responsibilities: Cashier Duties: • Process customer purchases, clean, restock shelves, and provide excellent customer service. • Assist customers with their shopping experience and offer feedback on products and inventory losses. • Participate in taking store inventory counts and monitor inventory for accuracy. • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses. Stocker Responsibilities:
• Stock shelves and rotate product properly to ensure fresh product availability. • Follow merchandising planograms to create attractive displays. • Organize new inventory, remove empty boxes, and operate equipment safely. Physical Requirements:
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store. • Stockers must be able to place product weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Requirements:
• You must be 18 years of age or older. • Ability to perform general cleaning duties, interpret company policies, and work independently and within a team environment. • Excellent verbal communication skills, effective time management, and knowledge of products and services are essential. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior retail experience preferred but not required. • Cashiers should be able to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately, while Stockers should have morning availability to accommodate store responsibilities.
