This role is vital for the success of our retail operations. Retail Sales Associates engage closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and answer inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, ensuring they receive the best solutions. You will also be responsible for addressing customer concerns promptly to maximize satisfaction and maintaining store quality and visual standards. The selected individual will work in stores within a 6-mile radius of Store #1373 located at: 4610 S. Hurstbourne Parkway, Louisville, KY 40299. This part-time position offers a starting pay rate of $14/hr. As part of your responsibilities, you will interact with customers, which may include minors, and handle cash and other payment methods. What Can You Expect as Part of Our Team? Deliver excellent customer service to drive high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist customers both in-store and via phone by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products. Establish strong trust-based relationships with both retail and wholesale customers. Accurately process sales transactions and adhere to company policies. Meet and achieve sales targets regularly. Maintain organized work order files and formulas. Retrieve and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse efficiently. Tint and mix products as per customer specifications. Ensure the store remains clean and presentable. Support loading and unloading of delivery trucks as needed. Keep areas in-stock and visually appealing for customers. Stay knowledgeable about products and available options. Follow inventory control procedures diligently. Propose improvements to enhance sales performance. Minimum Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old. You need to be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship for a work visa. A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required. You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation. You must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: A High School diploma or GED is desirable. At least one year of experience in retail, customer service, or delivery is preferred. Experience with paint and related products is a plus. Proficiency in operating tinting and mixing equipment is advantageous. Fluency in more than one language is beneficial; especially in Spanish.
