POSITION PURPOSE The Retail Sales Associate (RSA) is essential in creating a welcoming environment for both customers and team members. You will play a key role in maximizing sales by maintaining an organized and inviting store. Your responsibilities will include executing operational tasks and safeguarding company assets through exceptional customer service. You'll also provide valuable information about product benefits, ensuring our customers leave satisfied with their shopping experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Customer Focus: Proactively assist customers to resolve issues while managing multiple customers in a busy retail setting. Meet customers' needs by guiding them in locating merchandise, informing them of promotions, and ensuring a delightful shopping experience. Efficiently process point of sale transactions. Participate in floor replenishment and shipping tasks to guarantee customer satisfaction and product availability. Brand Execution: Maintain company visual standards throughout the store. Implement replenishment processes, recover sales areas, and ensure cleanliness to meet company standards. Set up merchandise according to visual directives. Demonstrate strong product knowledge and consistent merchandise presentation. Effectively communicate current promotions and the brand's loyalty program to customers. Drive Growth: Reduce store loss by delivering outstanding customer service. Uphold cleanliness and housekeeping standards for a positive customer experience. Meet or exceed productivity standards established by management. Achieve daily set goals to contribute to the store's success. Team Development: Foster cooperative working relationships with team members. Be flexible and adapt to task assignments as needed. Support management in executing store directives. Assist in training and coaching others for success. Follow all company policies and safety protocols. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong customer engagement skills. Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. High school diploma or GED preferred. Effective communication skills with both customers and employees. Prior experience in retail or specialty apparel is a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. Capacity to stand for extended periods. Regular walking, standing, and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching. AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS Willingness to meet business needs, including potential shifts on days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Availability changes must receive approval from the Store Manager based on business necessity. Shifts typically range from 3-8 hours in length (subject to applicable state laws).
