Retail Sales Associate Job Location: Walnut Creek, California Job Type:  Temporary Pay Rate:  $17-$18/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9am-6pm Description of Position: Do you have a passion for fashion and experience in retail? Job Responsibilities: Greet, engage, and build relationships with customers to create a positive shopping experience
Recommend products, offer styling tips, and share knowledge of current fashion trends and brand styles
Meet and exceed sales goals by providing personalized service and suggesting additional items
Place online orders for out-of-stock items to meet customer needs
Capture customer contact information at checkout
Support marketing by creating social media content as requested
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal
Process transactions accurately, handling cash and other payment methods
Assist with inventory management, including restocking, merchandising, and shipment processing (unboxing, steaming, folding)
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals
Description of Company: You will be supporting a well-established clothing store in Walnut Creek, California. Experience Required: Retail experience in the fashion industry preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Passion for fashion and an understanding of current trends
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to think creatively to meet customer needs
Ability to stand for long periods, handle heavy customer traffic, and lift up to 25 lbs
Flexible schedule with availability for retail hours
