American Liquidations specializes in selling pallets of liquidation merchandise from major retailers including overstock, shelf pulls, open box, and returned items. These pallets offer incredible value and are resold to the public for business or personal use. From electronics and appliances to tools, furniture, and home goods, our inventory and team is always evolving.
Position Overview: Retail Sales Associate
We are currently seeking Retail Sales Associates to join our in-store team in Milford, CT. This is a customer facing position ideal for individuals enthusiastic about retail, sales, and delivering great service. You will be the face of our brand, assisting customers in store, helping them navigate our product offerings, and ensuring a smooth, positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner
Process sales using a Point of Sale (POS) system quickly and accurately
Answer questions and provide information about pallets, pricing, and inventory
Perform live product demonstrations (when applicable) to support customer decision making
Handle transactions including cash, credit, and checks with care and accuracy
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and checkout area
Assist with restocking shelves, organizing inventory, and managing product displays
Operate pallet jacks and assist with moving and organizing merchandise
Help drive sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge
Must Have
Previous experience in retail, grocery, wireless, or technical sales
Enjoy collaborating with people and creating positive customer experiences
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a fast paced, high traffic environment
Basic knowledge of math for handling transactions and making change
Dependable, punctual, and accountable for all shifts
Reliably commute to Milford, CT 06461
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
A team player mindset — no job is too big or too small
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
Ability to lift or move products and operate a pallet jack
Bilingual proficiency
Schedule and Availability
8 hour shifts available
Morning and evening shifts
In person work required at our Milford, CT location
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $16.35 to $22.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
