In this essential role, you will work closely with both retail and wholesale customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. Your primary focus will be on delivering excellent customer service, resolving any inquiries promptly, and ensuring our clients are completely satisfied. As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll also be responsible for maintaining high standards of product visibility and quality throughout the store. Each day, you will play a crucial part in helping us achieve our sales goals while staying up-to-date with the latest product features. This position involves direct interaction with customers, including minors, and requires access to cash, payment methods, and other valuable store items. Due to the nature of this role, a review of criminal history will be conducted to safeguard our customers, employees, and business reputation. Key responsibilities include: Delivering outstanding customer service to ensure high satisfaction levels Assisting both in-person and over the phone by understanding needs and suggesting suitable products Building trusting relationships with customers Processing sales transactions in line with company policies Meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets Maintaining accurate work order files and formulas Pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications Stocking shelves and setting up product displays Keeping store equipment clean and well-maintained Loading and unloading delivery trucks Making deliveries when necessary Ensuring assigned areas are well-stocked and visually appealing Staying knowledgeable about current products to discuss options confidently Following inventory control procedures Suggesting improvements to boost sales Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service Previous experience selling paint and related products Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language, especially Spanish We are located at: 1524 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
