In this role, you will: Engage Customers: Welcome and assist customers as they enter the store, creating an informative and friendly environment. Showcase Product Knowledge: Provide accurate information about products and answer customer inquiries to enhance their shopping experience. Promote Sales: Inform customers about current discounts, special offers, and promotions to maximize their experience. Maintain Product Familiarity: Stay updated on new products and trends to provide expert guidance and upselling opportunities. Assist with Merchandising: Organize and restock merchandise to ensure optimal presentation and availability of products. Handle Transactions: Operate the cash register accurately, processing cash and credit card payments with precision. Support Store Maintenance: Help keep the back stock room organized, set up appealing merchandise displays, and maintain a tidy store environment. Conduct Inventory Management: Perform routine checks to monitor stock levels and ensure they are accurately accounted for. Provide Administrative Support: Assist with various tasks as directed by the Store Manager or Team Lead. Participate in Store Operations: Be involved in opening and closing procedures, following all operational guidelines. Qualifications: Previous experience in a Retail Sales Associate role or similar position is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and inventory management. A track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals demonstrates proficiency in driving sales. Excellent communication skills are vital for building trust with customers and team members. Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and work collaboratively within a team. A positive attitude, dependability, and punctuality are essential traits. Flexible availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays. A passion for Daiso's products and brand is highly valued. Physical fitness is important as the role involves lifting objects up to 40 lbs and standing for long periods.
