This position works specifically within our retail dispensary and inventory work areas. Your primary responsibility is to ensure our customers have an enjoyable and educational experience. You will engage with customers, provide product recommendations, and maintain the stores operations and appearance.What Youll Do:Customer Service Excellence:Greet and assist customers with warmth and knowledge.Discuss product options, brand stories, and cannabis information.Handle inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency.Collect and act on customer feedback to continuously improve the customer experience.Educate customers about the cannabis lounge experience, events, policies and services.Sales and Operations:Fulfill customer service and sales objectives, establishing rapport with customers to encourage return visits, ensure customer satisfaction, and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment. Operate the front desk computer, check-in customers, update customer profiles, and process transactions.Be knowledgeable of discounts and specials and ensure products are properly labeled, priced, and stocked.Maintain the cleanliness of workstations, product displays, and back areas.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Hit sales goals and quotas, excelling in sales competitions and achieving high performance.Assist in the receiving of inventory, cycle counts and overnight audits, and monitor inventory floor stock and brand/product requests from customers. Team and Community Engagement:Participate in the development and fulfillment of community programs, events, and initiatives.Foster a positive and respectful dialogue with team members, business affiliates, and community allies.Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a cannabis facility that has areas where cannabis consumption is permitted by customers. Cannabis smoke and vapor and general cannabis use are present in designated areas of our facilities. You must be comfortable working in this environment. Ability to listen and understand guest needs.Qualifications and Skills:Must be 21 years of age or older (State Cannabis Law Requirement).Experience with POS systems and relevant software.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate well and write legibly.Comfortable learning new skills and adapting as policies and procedures change.Reliable transportation and punctuality for all shifts, meetings, and outings.Preferred (not required): Experience as a bartender, wait staff, catering, or other hospitality industry positions.Preferred (not required): One or more years of direct retail or budtending experience.Preferred (not required): Cannabis industry background or extensive knowledge of cannabis culture.Ability to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly.Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment.Ability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends regularly.
