Duties Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products. Lead and develop a team through effective training, orientation, and performance management. Conduct interviews and recruit new team members to build a strong workforce. Implement sales strategies to achieve store goals while managing budgets effectively. Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve any customer complaints promptly. Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices. Utilize POS systems for transactions, inventory management, and sales reporting. Monitor retail math metrics to optimize pricing strategies and sales performance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Skills Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively. Experience in employee orientation, training & development, and team management. Proficiency in interviewing techniques and recruiting best practices. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Solid understanding of payroll processes, bookkeeping, inventory management, and cash handling. Proven leadership experience in retail sales or grocery store environments. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
