Retail Pharmacy Technician - Part Time (Ashland Location)

We are looking for someone who will:
- Provide excellent customer service to all of our patients, in store and on the phone.
- Assist the pharmacist in the refilling and packaging of prescription medications.
- Process computer insurance claims
- Field phone calls
- Check out patients at the register and in the drive thru.
- Work hard as part of a team, or by themselves.
- Have great attention to detail.
- Be friendly.
- Meet our high expectations for customer service.
- Adapt to changes in facility needs.
Schedule Requirements for Duration of Employment
Weekdays: Negotiable but the ability to close (work until 7pm) is preferred.
Weekends: 1-2 Saturdays per month (9:00am to 2:00pm) are expected. ALWAYS off on Sunday since we are closed ALL Sundays.
Holidays: All locations are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Pay Rate
Starting at $14/hr, with pay bumps available as you learn more within the pharmacy. Higher starting pay available if you have previous pharmacy experience.
Experience and Skills
Ability to multitask and work at a rapid pace while incorporating superior customer service and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Experience
Fast paced face to face customer service in a retail setting: 1 year (within previous six year)
Other requirements
Ability to pass background check, which may include driving history, and maintain good standing
Ability to pass routine random drug screenings
