We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with strong retail pharmacy experience for a 13-week contract in Clearwater, Florida . This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment. Position Details: Setting: Retail Pharmacy Position: Pharmacy Technician Type: Temporary / Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP (1.52 weeks after offer/clearance) Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM Responsibilities: Process prescriptions, handle insurance adjudications, and resolve rejections Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verification Perform data entry, manage prescription documentation, and make patient/provider calls Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration reviews Assist with returns, quarantines, and destruction processes Support packing, shipping, and cross-training in other pharmacy functions Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance regulations Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License required PTCB certification required 2+ years of recent retail pharmacy technician experience required (hospital-only experience not sufficient) Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills required Excellent communication skills and prior call center experience preferred Apply now or reach out for further inquiry: Farhan.Mohammad@Soliant.com 281-848-7415
