Store Hours : 8:30am – 5:30pm M-F; Saturday 8am – noon. Schedule : FT alternating 4 10-hour shifts & 3 10-hours with 4 hour Saturday; No Sunday or Holidays
Key Responsibilities: Provides pharmaceutical care to all ages of patients from newborns to the elderly. Understands that there are dosage variations between newborn, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients, and knows where to find appropriate information. Supervises pharmacy staff: pharmacy technician, billing clerk. Monitors all postings onto the patient profiles in the computer system. Ensures accuracy and that drug allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapy, rational drug therapy and incompatibilities may be realized and better patient care received. Endorses policies and procedures of the retail pharmacy. Maintains established procedures concerning quality control, security of controlled substances and disposal of hazardous waste. Participates in the 340B program, antibiotic stewardship, pharmacy and therapeutics meetings and any other meetings involving pharmacy. Stays current in the pharmaceutical field through continuing education, conferences, professional journals and societies. Utilize and maintain the pharmacy’s dispensing system (Liberty Software, recently implemented)
Qualifications: Active Colorado Pharmacist License (or ability to obtain prior to start) Minimum 2 years of retail/community pharmacy experience preferred Experience with immunizations and compounding helpful but not required Strong communication, and customer service skills Commitment to serving in a rural community environment
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $55.00 – $79.00 (DOE) Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for a 2-year commitment Relocation Assistance: $5,000 Housing Assistance: Up to 6 months of free housing (subject to availability; taxable benefit) Comprehensive Benefits Package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO and paid holidays, retirement plan, CE reimbursement and employee discounts
