Job Summary The Retail Operations Manager at Arc3 Gases plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, operational efficiency, and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Sales and Customer Experience Customer Focus: Manage all customer interactions, ensuring exceptional service and prompt responses to inquiries. Issue Resolution: Address customer inquiries and issues efficiently to enhance their experience. Sales Growth: Collaborate with the sales team to discover opportunities for increasing store sales and profitability. Documentation Accuracy: Ensure all quotes, delivery tickets, and sales orders are prepared accurately. Team Leadership and Development Leadership: Mentor and develop your sales team to ensure high performance and accountability. Training Programs: Provide comprehensive training on products, customer service standards, and safety protocols. Onboarding: Facilitate new hire training and integration into the team with ongoing performance check-ins. Professional Standards: Uphold a professional appearance throughout the team. Operational Management Daily Operations: Ensure daily activities, including cash handling and administrative tasks, run smoothly. Route Coordination: Oversee route scheduling and ensure safe and efficient deliveries. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee the receiving and stocking of goods. Automated Orders: Adjust replenishment quantities based on monitoring weekly reports. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all vehicles are maintained according to safety and operational standards. Branch Operations Guide: Utilize established procedures to maintain consistency across operations. Administrative Excellence Administrative Oversight: Handle all store administrative duties and ensure accurate order processing. Accurate Reporting: Complete all necessary paperwork on time to maintain operational integrity. Order Management: Oversee the processing of orders to ensure timely fulfillment. Performance Monitoring: Track store performance to meet financial goals and implement corrective actions. Cash Management: Supervise cash management processes to guarantee accuracy. Store Presentation and Organization Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean and organized to meet or exceed customer expectations. Store Appearance: Ensure adherence to the 'One Arc3' branch look and feel. Product Display: Regularly assess and organize product displays for customer clarity. Safety Culture Safety Culture: Promote a safety-first mindset and adherence to all safety protocols. Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety checks and respond to concerns immediately. Safety Equipment Management: Ensure all safety equipment and signage are updated and available. Continuous Improvement & Adaptability: Managers should remain informed about new tools and processes, integrating them into store operations effectively. Qualifications and Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of four years in a welding and gas or related industry. At least two years in a sales or customer service role. Leadership experience preferred.
Skills: Strong knowledge of welding and gas products preferred. Proficient with office equipment and computer systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Licensing: CDL Class B required or willingness to obtain after hiring.
Physical Requirements: Capability to handle heavy materials including cylinders and boxes. Ability to operate forklifts and drive trucks with lift gates.
