As a Retail Operations Manager, you will bring your innovative mindset to oversee various functions including team development, product management, and customer service excellence to ensure the profitability of our store. Key Responsibilities: Focus on core aspects of store operations, including team dynamics, customer engagement, store presentation, operational execution, and financial performance. Train, coach, and mentor leadership staff to achieve consistent, top-tier operational standards. Develop and implement personalized growth plans for each of your team members. Ensure optimal staffing levels across all store departments to meet customer demands while managing team performance effectively. Monitor and analyze wage and expense metrics, identifying variances and implementing corrective strategies as needed. Ensure adherence to all store policies regarding customer service, safety, inventory management, and operational guidelines. Oversee all activities related to firearms, including acquisition, sales, inventory management, and recordkeeping. Drive sales through exceptional merchandising skills, ensuring appealing product placement. Promote Fleet Farm’s customer loyalty program, credit card offerings, and other company initiatives. Qualifications: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years in retail management experience, preferably in a large-scale setting. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team of full-time and part-time members. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving positive business outcomes.
