As a Retail Operations Manager Trainee, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position is designed for driven individuals who are eager to make an impact and thrive in a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage various business operations including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-kept facility by overseeing restroom and shower cleanliness, along with equipment maintenance and safety checks. Boost sales by effectively managing ordering, stocking, inventory, and merchandising. Support the General Manager in executing tasks, ensuring schedule and cash integrity, and completing comprehensive reporting. Analyze financial reports to understand profit and loss statements and identify opportunities for growth. Collaborate with management in the recruitment and training of new talent. Qualifications: 2+ years of management experience in retail, travel stops, large-scale grocery, or department stores. Experience managing operations with annual sales volume exceeding $2 million. Proficient in budget management and the interpretation of P&L statements. Experience supervising and training teams of 5-10+ employees. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Skills and Requirements: Willingness to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Exemplary customer service and salesmanship abilities, ensuring operational efficiency. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail. Effective teamwork and collaboration skills. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving items over 75 pounds.
