Join our dynamic team as a Retail Operations Assistant Manager! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to play a vital role in overseeing store operations, fostering exceptional customer service, and nurturing team development. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting daily store functions and activities to ensure a smooth operation.
Providing outstanding customer service and addressing inquiries with a friendly demeanor.
Assisting in the organization and transfer of merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor, while maintaining seasonal displays.
Executing opening and closing procedures effectively.
Implementing corporate directives on various store activities including inventory management and compliance processes.
Ensuring promotional displays and fixtures are visually appealing and effective.
Contributing to ordering, record-keeping, and loss prevention efforts.
Maintaining a clean and organized store environment in accordance with company standards.
Securing company assets, including cash and inventory.
Upholding company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety and operations.
Aiding the Store Manager in training and supervising Store Associates.
Promoting a positive and respectful workplace, ensuring professional interactions with customers and staff.
Taking responsibility for the cleanliness of the store, including restocking and waste management.
Performing other relevant duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; ability to understand and interpret operational directives is essential.
Previous experience in a retail or grocery management role is preferred.
Key Qualifications:
Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent movement around the store.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
