Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies and procedures, and provide referrals of mortgage clients for other bank services. Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed production goals. Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines used by Truist. Adhere to all Truist policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws. Provide mortgage clients sound mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist Mortgage products and benefits. Reference and utilize Truist's referral process to deepen client opportunities and connect clients to other bank solutions. Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with client, attorney, or appraiser document follow-up as determined through quality control or post-closing review.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: 1+ year(s) experience in banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of residential property types Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills Proficiency in relevant computer applications SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance within 30 days of employment in this role including new or transfer of registration, and acceptable background check
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related studies or equivalent financial sales experience Two or more years of experience in residential mortgage lending with solid knowledge of the local market and regulations Previous sales awards and leadership positions
