Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Retail Merchandising Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for executing merchandising tasks and cultivating relationships with our retail clients. Your ability to adapt to challenges and deadlines will be critical to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute retail merchandising tasks by effectively reading and understanding plano-grams and schematic layouts, while implementing product resets in grocery and retail settings.
Demonstrate strong execution skills and meet challenging deadlines.
Interface professionally and positively with clients, leadership, and store managers.
Maintain high levels of collaboration, customer service, and engagement.
Accurately report completed tasks via designated systems on the same day the work is performed.
Complete required training and certification programs to maintain expertise.
Utilize CROSSMARK's communication tools for planning, reporting, and reviewing work effectively.
Provide excellent customer service and build professional relationships with store management, associates, and other merchandising companies.
Ensure proper maintenance and management of all company equipment.
Receive and secure necessary product and materials for resets.
Adhere to company policies and fulfill job responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in retail resets or merchandising, especially in cosmetics, is preferred.
Ability to successfully complete reset work activities according to schedule.
Communicate effectively with store personnel and management regarding tasks, promotions, and client objectives.
Reliable transportation to travel between locations (typically 25-40 miles); mileage reimbursement will be provided.
Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and meet minimum auto insurance requirements.
English proficiency is required; bilingual skills may be preferred based on business needs.
Hours of Availability (Part-Time)
The position is expected to be up to 24 hours a week, with hours being subject to change based on client needs.
Typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overnight travel or weekend/evening projects.
Must be available for eight-hour shifts, starting at 8:00 AM.
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Regular access to a computer or printer for emails, training, and report printing.
Ability to navigate and utilize tablet or smartphone technology for photo uploads and app usage.
Consistent access to reliable internet.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
Required to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally from the floor to waist or chest height.
Tasks may involve physical activities such as removing items from shelves, building displays, reorganizing products, and managing stock.
Education:
High school diploma or GED is required.
