The Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic retail operation plans, including in-store marketing and sales initiatives. Responsibilities include working cross-departmentally to design and procure point-of-sale materials, developing new merchandising solutions, managing trade dollars for account-specific promotions and activations, and organizing retail selling events. The manager will serve as the key contact for retail business partners and account managers nationwide, ensuring brand integrity and impactful marketing at the point of sale. The role reports to the VP of Brand Strategy and the VP of Sales and Marketing. Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategic development and planning of all in-store marketing and signage initiatives. Create and manage strategic plans for marketing and signage based on merchandising initiatives, sales goals, and shopper insights. Collaborate with account and merchandising teams to develop marketing plans, displays, promotions, and events that foster customer engagement, increase traffic, and boost sales. Oversee the entire in-store campaign lifecycle from inception to completion, including budgeting, business briefings, and production of marketing collateral. Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of consumer behavior marketing. Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior customers and leadership. Knowledge of current retail sales trends and industry insights. Ability to manage and motivate team members to meet sales and merchandising goals. Creative, analytical, and negotiation skills. Understanding of brand and retailer creative development processes, including displays, activations, and promotional programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. 3-5 years of retail shopper marketing and promotional sales experience, preferably in CPG or food sectors. Strategic and creative thinking skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure. Customer service orientation. Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent communication skills. Willingness to travel up to 25% and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must have a valid ID or passport for travel. Positive attitude and results-driven mindset.
