What We're Looking For: Are you someone who thrives on precision, compliance, and understands the full journey of a loan from application to close? Join us as we launch this brand-new position, a Retail Loan Quality Review Analyst , which is a critical role designed to enhance loan quality and regulatory integrity across our mortgage and consumer lending operations. What You'll Do: Conduct post-closing reviews of consumer and residential mortgage loans to ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation. Perform pre-closing quality checks on a sample of loans to identify and correct potential issues. Use structured review checklists and communicate findings promptly for timely resolution. Monitor loan pipelines (in Encompass) for ongoing compliance with TRID, RESPA, TILA, ECOA, HMDA, and other key regulations. Partner with the Compliance and Documentation team to serve as a liaison and subject matter expert. Track trends, support process improvement, and provide regulatory training for lending staff. Assist in developing or updating procedures for both consumer and mortgage lending operations.
Must-Haves: Hands-on experience in mortgage and consumer lending, with a deep understanding of the full loan process from origination to closing. Ability to interpret complex lending regulations and confidently address discrepancies. Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills. A minimum of 3 years in lending, loan operations, or compliance.
