The Retail Lead is responsible for all service and production in a coffee shop venue, as well as service for a convenience store. Duties include making food & beverages to order following set recipes and standards, offering top-notch customer service, stocking products, setting an example as a lead in your work area, and coaching student/hourly employees on drink and food production, stocking, and service. Indirectly supervise Foodservice Workers, Dining Services workers, Temporary Hourly Employees, and Student Employee within a defined work area to ensure staff are meeting defined standards of food production, quality, and safety.

Properly handle convenience store items by storing, refrigerating, freezing, or disposing following safety, sanitation, and operation guidelines.

Assist and learn how to record and access customer counts, food preparation, production, inventory, and all other information pertinent to maintain inventory levels.
