We encourage military personnel to apply. Job Description Pilot Flying J is looking for a dedicated Retail General Manager Trainee to help oversee our bustling retail facilities. You will play a key role in developing and executing business plans for travel centers and restaurants, aiming to meet sales and profit objectives while enhancing customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring customer expectations are consistently met. Conducting regular meetings with team members. Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships. In your role, you will also: Drive sales and manage team members effectively. Track inventory and ensure optimal customer service. Perform profit and loss analysis to steer financial performance. Pay rates start at $54,300.00 - $80,750.00 per year. Qualifications To be successful as a Retail General Manager Trainee, you must display integrity and accountability. Strong team leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to adapt to a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Additional qualifications include: 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurants, grocery, or service industries with financial accountability. Proven ability to excel in a high-volume retail environment with P&L management. A customer-focused mindset that fosters a positive culture.
