Welcome to Loves! As a Retail General Manager Trainee, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, driving efficiency, ensuring quality and maximizing customer satisfaction. This role involves leading a dedicated team, managing various processes, and executing strategies aimed at growing sales and achieving organizational goals. Job Functions: Take a hands-on approach to managing multiple business operations, including retail store, fuel services, and restaurant operations.
Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through regular cleanliness checks of restrooms and showers, and conducting equipment maintenance and safety checks.
Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, effective inventory management, and maintaining merchandising standards.
Assist the General Manager with tasks such as scheduling, cash integrity, and completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Understand and analyze financial reports, focusing on profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with management in talent acquisition efforts.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in retail management, travel stops, convenience stores, big box, grocery, or department store sectors.
Experience managing operations with an annual sales volume exceeding $2 million for at least 2 years.
At least 2 years of experience with budget management and analyzing P&L statements.
Proven supervisory experience training and leading teams of 5-10+ employees for 2 years or more.
Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Skills and Demands: Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Expertise in customer service and relationship-building.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong teamwork abilities.
Physical demands include regular talking and hearing, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting/moving items over 75 pounds.
