As a Retail General Manager Trainee, you will play a crucial role in assisting and overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You will lead a dynamic team, master operational processes, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance sales and fulfill organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Take hands-on responsibility for multiple business operations, including retail, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized facility, ensuring restroom and shower cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and conducting safety checks. Boost product and service sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards. Assist the General Manager in executing tasks, ensuring schedule integrity, managing cash flow, and completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Collaborate with management to support talent acquisition efforts. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in management within retail, travel stops, or similar environments. Experience managing operations with annual sales exceeding $2 million. Strong skills in budget management and P&L statement analysis. Proven track record of supervising and training teams of 5-10+ employees. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Skills Required: Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a keen focus on customer satisfaction. Exceptional customer service skills, with a knack for building rapport and ensuring satisfaction. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail. Effective teamwork skills. Physical Requirements: Position involves regular talking and hearing. Requires active participation, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and frequent lifting/moving of items exceeding 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required.
