Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned: Receives, inventories, distributes and ships merchandise for Palisades Tahoe retail outlets and uniform department in accordance with Distribution Center guidelines. Logs merchandise information into Retail Pro System. Helps update and maintain database. Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assists in maintaining the security and safety of the Distribution Center Assists in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, placing materials or items on racks, shelves, bins, and pallets according to predetermined sequences such as size, style, type, color, or product code. Accurately handles merchandise received and ensures that product is dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities Efficient preparation of garments and protect merchandise from damage and shrinkage Gathers and maintains all data records relative to shipping activities Follow and practice all policies and procedures as discussed in Orientation and further outlined in the Operations Manual as standards of conduct including but not limited to, parking, attire, use of company equipment, late absence policy, and behavior while on property Drives delivery vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated areas Competencies and Job Requirements: Required: Effective communication skills, oral & written Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time Work well as part of a team. Superior organizational skills to expedite flow of work, and able to multi task.
