Join our team as a crucial member responsible for the success of our retail operations! As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide answers to their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your role will also involve resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction while keeping abreast of product features and maintaining exceptional product quality and store aesthetics. Work Location: You will be expected to work at stores within a 10-mile radius of Store #1436, located at: 12680 E. 116th St., Fishers, IN 46037. This is a full-time position with a starting pay rate of $17.05/hr. As a key player in our stores, you will have opportunities to: Deliver outstanding customer service and sales support. Assist customers in-person and via phone by understanding their needs and presenting appropriate products. Build strong, trusting relationships with clients. Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies. Achieve sales goals consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintain organized work order files and formulas. Prepare and mix products to meet customer specifications. Stock shelves and set up engaging displays. Keep equipment clean and well maintained. Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries when necessary. Ensure assigned areas are consistently stocked and visually appealing. Stay informed about all products and effectively communicate options to customers. Adhere to inventory control procedures. Propose ideas to enhance sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship for a work visa at any time. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodations. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED is preferred. At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role. Previous work experience selling paint and related products is a plus. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is advantageous. Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is a benefit. Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
