Retail Coordinator Reports to: Director of Retail Type of Position: Non-Exempt Summary/Objective The Retail Coordinator supports daily operations of Ruby Falls' retail venues by assisting team members, coordinating merchandise flow and ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers. This role bridges the gap between team members and leadership, helping to foster a positive, organized environment. Essential Functions: Assist the Team Lead and Director in overseeing daily store operations. Act as a point of contact for team members during shifts, providing direction, coaching, and support. Ensure merchandising standards, displays, and signage are executed according to company guidelines. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with receiving teams for stock replenishment. Support scheduling, task assignments, and floor coverage to maintain productivity. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional, solution-focused manner. Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required, overseeing store safety, cash handling, and closing/opening procedures. Assist with training and onboarding of new team members. Track and report sales trends, shrink, and customer feedback to leadership. Perform other duties as assigned to support retail operations. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling. Additional Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, and stand for extended periods. Must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be available to work holidays, weekends, and evenings. Ability to successfully navigate cavern, pathways and stairs. Mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy and manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasional travel is required (1-2 times annually). Flexibility to work frontline positions, including register operations, as needed. Basic troubleshooting skills with computers and point-of-sale systems; ability to maintain documentation of systems and procedures.
