Team Overview: Banking Business Unit is an area within Wealth Management & Field Management helping branch teams serve clients with their cash, savings, spending, and borrowing needs.
What You Will Do: The Associate Product Manager will support the retail banking products delivered through a partnership with U.S. Bank. This role will partner with stakeholders within Edward Jones and U.S. Bank to drive product strategy and support the growth of current and future banking products. The role will primarily focus on driving the maturity of the initial offerings of checking accounts and credit cards, with potential growth into analyzing the feasibility of subsequent products such as mortgages, business checking accounts and/or affluent targeted credit cards. Responsibilities include: Collaborate with team members to support the retail banking product strategy and ensure branch teams have the products and support they need to help clients achieve their goals. Gather insights and analysis of moderate complexity that inform product strategy and development. Responsible for working with internal stakeholders and product partner/vendor relationships of moderate size, complexity, number or impact in order to:Manage and maintain their portfolio of products including influencing recommendations to add, remove or change products or product partners.Help shape and execute business plans that align with firm strategic directionEnsure that product literature and wholesaling support is effective, aligned and compliant with key firm messagesInfluence the development of integrated platforms, systems, tools and processes that create a better client and branch team experienceHelp identify and prioritize product enhancements and maintain the digital product backlog and roadmap Interface with product partner peers, e.g., relationship managers, product analysts, divisional sales managers and operational managersSupport the creation and delivery of operational level reporting and executive level communicationsResolve service issues of a moderately complex or broad nature. Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned Everyday Solutions products for the firm. Includes foundational knowledge of product features, benefits, pricing, etc. and their relative positioning in the marketplace. Support broad division, firm or industry initiatives and events as needed to represent the product line in alignment with firm strategy, e.g., cross divisional-projects, internal committees, product partner events, regional events, industry groups, etc. *This position is known internally as an Associate Product Manager
