Position Purpose: Join our team as a Cashier and play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities will include providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service during Checkout and Return transactions. You will also monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area to ensure a smooth experience for all shoppers. As a Cashier, you will actively seek out product knowledge, allowing you to share valuable information with customers while identifying selling opportunities. It's important to follow all store policies and procedures to minimize shrink and enhance customer satisfaction. If you’re interested in taking on more responsibility, consider becoming a Head Cashier. In this role, you will assist with overseeing Cashiers by expediting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions, and managing markdowns across various service areas including Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental. You will also provide first-level support for customer issues and engage in training and coaching new Cashiers, utilizing available tools to foster their development.
