Job Summary

Overview: The retail associate is responsible for both transactional level interaction with guests by providing a customer service experience that exceeds the customer's expectations. They will report to the Supervisory and Management team of retail. This job requires organization, problem-solving and communication skills. They will perform several day-to-day tasks related to standard retail operations and additional tasks as assigned by the supervisory and management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Service

  • Complete steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
  • Describe product offerings, packaging/presentation, inventory, and pricing
  • Establish rapport with guests/members
  • Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
  • Exceed guest expectations
  • Adhere to location appearance guidelines (checklist)
  • Act with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests, as well as complete assigned tasks and daily responsibilities
  • Ensure all product is displayed and merchandised appropriately
  • Respond to guest needs and requests
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager

Controls

  • Follow tenders handling checkout guidelines
  • Accurately use POS system
  • Employ good safety and sanitation practices
  • Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
  • Ensure all employees are following Levy Core principals by holding themselves and others accountable for store and service standards
  • Communicate guest issues to management
  • Adhere to Levy company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
  • Manage and control floor inventory and product offerings
  • Complete all assigned paperwork including checklists, inventory forms, transfer forms, and other paperwork as assigned
  • Knowledgeable of Retail Cloud POS system
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager

Team

  • Display a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
  • Help fellow team members when necessary
  • Punctual and ready to perform required duties

Availability:

  • Available for all designated high volume days or black out event
  • Available for Sports and Consignment events
  • Available to pick up shifts within a reasonable ask from management
