This is a Retail Cashier Floater position with Jacksons, a company that offers a variety of perks and discounts to its employees. The role offers the opportunity to work in different store locations within a specific geographic region (Kirkland, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Issaquah, Renton, Sammamish), providing coverage and assistance where needed due to absences, vacations, or vacant positions. Job Description: Pay: $20.70 $22.20 an hour. Position: Retail Cashier Floater providing coverage at various store locations within the specified district. Shift: Full-time, shift and store location will vary. Must be able to work flexible shifts to support a 24/7 operation, including rotating shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends. Requirements: Must be 21 or older and have reliable transportation. Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, provide fast and friendly service, offer product information, and thank them for their business. Sales Transactions: Ring up sales and merchandise accurately, offer applicable discounts/promotions, and follow all laws and policies regarding restricted sales of tobacco and alcohol. Cashiering Duties: Prepare cashier checkout reports accurately according to policy. Reconcile daily paperwork and completing daily deposits (Book Floaters Only). Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store. Stocking and Merchandising: Properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays. Safety and Security: Be safety/security conscious and adhere to the guidelines in the Safety Manual. Report any accidents or incidents to the Store Manager immediately. Policy Compliance: Be knowledgeable of and follow company policy and procedures. Additional Duties: As assigned. Fuel Service (Where Applicable): Fuel customers cars, check engine fluids, and wash customer windows as needed. Same day pay! Company bonus opportunity every 6 months. Possesses experience of leading by example and doing the right thing, always. Has a strong sense of teamwork. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for an extended period. Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
