Retail Banking Specialists are the friendly face of our branches. They dedicate themselves to understanding customers' needs and building long-lasting relationships through trusted financial advice.
What you'll do

In this role, you will leverage your excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, combined with your financial knowledge, to provide customers with tailored assistance for their spending, saving, borrowing, and investment needs.
You will work to understand customers' personal financial goals and recommend customized solutions to help them achieve milestones such as buying a home or obtaining a credit card. You’ll also educate customers on our digital and mobile banking options, including our app and ATMs. Collaborating with experts in Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking, you’ll assist clients with their more complex financial requirements. Additionally, expect to proactively reach out to potential customers and set up financial wellness check-ins, as customer goals can evolve.
Compliance with all financial policies and procedures, cash handling practices, and local regulations will be essential in this role.

Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
2 years of experience in sales and customer service, proving ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
Strong questioning skills to identify client needs and enhance relationships.
Proven history of building relationships and successfully recommending products through face-to-face and phone interactions.
Skilled in utilizing digital technology to achieve business objectives.
Effective problem-solving abilities to address customer inquiries.
Collaborative approach to strengthening relationships with teammates and specialists.
Self-motivated, confident, and adept at multitasking.
Willingness to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
Compliance with SAFE Act requirements, including pre-employment screening and obtaining a unique identifier from NMLS.
Completion of a video interview assessment within 7 days of application submission.
Preferred Skills/Experience
1 year of cash handling experience.
Hours and Work Schedule
40 hours per week.
Work Schedule varies according to branch needs, may include weekends and evenings.
