Position Description: Our teller position is great for a seasoned retail banker or for someone just beginning their banking career. Our Retail team is the face of the Bank, focused on building quality relationships, offering helpful product and service solutions, and protecting the financial security of our clients.
As a teller, you will provide services to our client, both business and personal, to help meet their needs. This includes processing and verifying teller transactions, performing account maintenance, and opening new personal and business accounts. The teller position provides an opportunity to learn what happens at a financial institution, while also providing a path for personal and career growth and development. We are looking for someone who can exhibit a high level of professionalism. Candidates should have strong customer service abilities and be able to provide clear communication, problem solving skill and patience with clients and someone who is able to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy - all essential in order to create a positive experience for our clients. We currently have a full-time position available Monday through Friday, working 40 hours per week. Saturday rotation 7:45AM to 12:30PM. Wages start at $15 to 18 per hour. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School Graduate or GED required
Previous cash handling experience required
One to two years of prior banking experience preferred
Type at least 40 words per minute and use a 10-key calculator proficiently
Able to multi-task and make quick decisions
Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized
Must enjoy working with people Strong customer service abilities
Solid verbal communication skills
Good sales and motivational skills
Presents a neat, professional appearance
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to view a computer screen for long periods of time
Must be able to speak and listen clearly both in person and on the phone
Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy
This job may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently
