Responsibilities Provide a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, making eye contact, and offering courteous service. Maintain a clean, organized store environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation. Follow all store policies and procedures, including cash handling, POS transactions, and loss prevention awareness. Assist customers with merchandise, answer questions, and escalate issues to Store Leadership when needed. Support store operations by performing cleaning tasks, stocking, sizing and recovery per company guidelines, and expediting newly received merchandise to the sales floor. Represent and protect the Ross brand through integrity, respect for colleagues and customers, and safeguarding confidential information. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company dress code. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain safe conditions on the sales floor, aisles, and egress routes.

Qualifications and Skills Effective communication with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful manner. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Physical Requirements Ability to use store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs as required. Ability to stand and move for up to 100% of working time; ability to bend, squat, climb, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds (stockroom shifts may involve up to 20 pounds). Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies as assigned.
