Retail Associate We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of cash handling procedures and the ability to operate a cash register or POS system. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide retail sales assistance. Process transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer experience and drive sales. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Proficient in basic math skills, including retail math for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register or POS system is advantageous. Strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
