RETAIL / GUEST EXPERIENCE ASSOCIATE – BARDSTOWN, KENTUCKY Our Bardstown, Kentucky, Tasting Room is located in the heart of a small-town, hospitable, and spirited community with a specialty in bourbon. The Retail / Guest Experience Associate serves as a representative of the retail brand and plays an important role in the store's overall success, supporting customers during their visit and assisting in daily operations. The Liaison welcomes guests and ensures they receive exceptional customer service and an incredible experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO Assist guests in answering questions, locating store items, and ensuring the store is organized Greets and checks in guests upon arrival and confirms reservations Completes guest transactions and shares applicable promotions to encourage sales Fulfills online orders by receiving, processing, and organizing deliveries accordingly Effectively communicates with guests and provides exceptional customer service Resolves any guest complaints or objections in a professional manner Ensures store merchandise and displays are appropriately stocked and elegantly presented according to store brand guidelines WHAT YOU'LL NEED 2 or more years of customer service experience Prior retail and beverage alcohol experience highly preferred Exceptional customer service and communication skills Solid organizational skills and attention to detail Technical savvy and ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) software Ability to meet state requirements to legally serve alcohol Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to work part-time and shift schedules WHY YOU'LL LIKE WORKING HERE Opportunity to work with an innovative-driven spirits portfolio Ability to learn and be provided with an incredible amount of knowledge of spirits and industry trends Work in an organization with a culture of belonging and bringing your authentic self to work ABOUT US Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Grain and Barrel Spirits is an innovation-driven global spirits portfolio that develops and scales authentic brands – connecting the best artisans with markets and consumers around the world.
