Join our dynamic team as a Retail Assistant Manager! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in driving store operations, enhancing customer service, and fostering team development. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting daily store functions and activities Engaging with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, addressing their needs and concerns Assisting in the organization and transfer of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, while maintaining seasonal areas Executing opening and closing procedures Processing corporate directives and communication related to store activities Ensuring effective promotional displays and store-front arrangements Assisting with inventory orders, handling damaged merchandise, and maintaining accurate record-keeping Upholding store standards for a well-stocked sales floor and an organized stockroom Safeguarding company assets, including cash Adhering to company policies and safety guidelines, ensuring all associates do the same Supporting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates Fostering a positive and respectful environment for customers and colleagues Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restroom upkeep and general tidiness Performing other related duties as assigned Skills and Experience: Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and meet the physical demands of the role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to thrive in a high-energy, team-oriented environment Exceptional customer service and organizational skills Ability to solve problems effectively and make sound decisions Perks and Benefits: We offer a robust benefits package including medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision insurance, as well as: Employee Assistance Program Retirement plans Educational Assistance And much more!
