Join our dynamic team as a Retail Assistant Manager! In this role, you will play a crucial part in store operations, customer service, and team development. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with daily store functions and activities Providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries with a friendly attitude Organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, ensuring seasonal displays are maintained Carrying out opening and closing procedures effectively Processing corporate directives and communications related to store operations Maintaining impactful promotional displays and store front fixtures Assisting in inventory management, processing damaged goods, record-keeping, and loss prevention Keeping the sales floor well-stocked and the stockroom organized according to company standards Securing all company assets and managing store cash Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety guidelines Helping the Store Manager with the supervision, training, and development of store associates Creating a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking and cleaning areas as needed Completing other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives is required Prior store management experience in a retail, grocery, or drugstore environment preferred You must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and frequently walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and repetitively lift items.
