Position Summary:
The Retail Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in managing the daily operations of the retail store/outlet. This pivotal role requires strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. You will play an essential role in overseeing personnel and ensuring operational efficiency, all while enhancing your own leadership skills and contributing to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide and motivate staff, program participants, donors, and customers to meet production and quality goals, fulfilling sales expectations, and ensuring a well-run store/outlet.
Follow organizational policies and procedures to maintain a positive retail environment both internally and externally.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, strong organizational and management skills, and adept problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer service.
Compensation: $18.08-$19.16/hour
Schedule: Flexible hours are required, with availability needed for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Travel: Local travel may be necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent AND at least 1 year of management experience required.
Internal candidates must have: High school diploma or equivalent AND 6 months of experience in a Goodwill Team Leader role.
Required Clearances, Licenses, and Certifications:
Candidates must provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH).
