In this role, you will support the management of our store and ensure a vibrant shopping experience for our customers. Your Responsibilities: Embrace and promote the core values and culture of Cavender's. Assist in overseeing day-to-day store operations and supervise store associates. Act as the Store Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless operations. Participate in training and onboarding of new associates to foster a knowledgeable team. Help prepare and analyze store reports to track performance. Be vigilant about safety and security, reporting any incidents promptly. Understand and uphold company policies and procedures. Contribute to sales growth, profitability, and managing operational expenses. Manage store opening and closing tasks as directed. Conduct daily check-ups and assist with bank deposits. Assist in maintaining the store's appearance, both inside and out, to create an inviting atmosphere. Keep accurate records and files as required. Review timecard exceptions and approve payroll. Engage in shrinkage control through proactive measures, including legal action against theft. Resolve customer and personnel issues with professionalism. Undertake any additional duties typical in the retail apparel and footwear sector. Collaborate with the Store Manager on various tasks as assigned. Interpret reports and coach associates on achieving compliance with company goals. Qualifications: Strong understanding of basic instructions. Able to interpret documents effectively. Capability to apply abstract principles to various complex tasks. Good understanding of communication and the ability to respond appropriately. Proficient in analyzing information and writing comprehensive reports. Must be able to read and understand English. Ability to remain alert and focused during assigned work hours.
