Join Our Team as a Retail Assistant Manager! We are looking for a dynamic Retail Assistant Manager to enhance our store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster team development. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting day-to-day store activities and functions. Engaging with customers in a friendly and approachable way, addressing their questions or concerns. Assisting with the organization and transfer of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor and ensuring seasonal areas are well maintained. Executing opening and closing procedures efficiently. Processing corporate directives and responding to information requests related to store activities. Ensuring promotional displays and fixtures are effective and appealing. Helping with merchandise orders, processing damaged goods, maintaining record-keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash handling), and loss prevention. Creating and maintaining a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to meet company standards. Safeguarding company assets, particularly cash. Adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while ensuring all associates do the same. Supporting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates. Promoting a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional relationships with customers, associates, and leadership. Overseeing store cleanliness, including restocking bathrooms, cleaning floors, taking out the trash, and keeping all areas tidy. Performing other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. You should be able to interpret and explain operational directives effectively. Previous store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is a plus. You must be able to lift up to 55 lbs., and meet the physical demands of frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a high-energy, team-focused atmosphere.
