Join Our Team as a Retail Assistant Manager! We are excited to invite a motivated Retail Assistant Manager to assist with our dynamic store operations, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to team development. Your daily responsibilities will include: Supporting store functions and managing day-to-day activities effectively. Delivering outstanding customer service by positively engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries. Organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery trucks to the stockroom and sales floor, while maintaining seasonal displays. Executing opening and closing procedures in a timely manner. Processing corporate directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey information, and other communications. Maintaining promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays. Assisting with merchandise ordering, processing damaged items, and handling record-keeping tasks including payroll and loss prevention. Ensuring the store meets cleanliness and organization standards across all areas. Securing all company assets, including cash. Adhering to company policies and safety guidelines and promoting compliance among associates. Helping to train and develop Store Associates, fostering a collaborative team environment. Creating a positive, safe, and respectful working environment through professional interactions. Maintaining store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and overall presentation. Performing any additional duties as assigned. Skills and Experience: You have a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to read and interpret operational directives. Previous experience in a retail, grocery, or drug store management role is preferred. You are physically able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle various physical tasks such as walking, standing, and lifting. Excellent communication , interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential. You thrive in a team-oriented and energetic environment. Outstanding customer service skills are a must, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
