We are on the lookout for a dynamic Retail Assistant Manager to enhance our team and support store operations, customer service, and team development. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and effective store management. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with daily store functions and activities to ensure smooth operations. Providing exceptional customer service by positively engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries or concerns. Facilitating the organization and transfer of merchandise from deliveries to stockroom and sales floor, as well as managing seasonal displays. Executing opening and closing procedures efficiently. Implementing corporate directives relating to store activities and maintaining compliance. Enhancing promotional effectiveness through attractive store-front fixtures and displays. Assisting in inventory management, including ordering new merchandise and managing damaged items. Maintaining a well-organized sales floor and stockroom in accordance with company standards. Safeguarding company assets, including store cash, and ensuring robust loss prevention strategies. Upholding company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines, for all team members. Supporting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store associates. Fostering a positive, respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, team members, and leadership. Ensuring cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms and maintaining overall tidiness. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives is essential. Preferred experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management. Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet the physical demands of frequent walking, standing, and lifting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are necessary. Experience working in a high-energy, team-oriented environment is essential. Proven exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
