Retail Assistant Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Retail Assistant Manager to enhance our store operations, provide exceptional customer service, and nurture team development. If you are passionate about retail and enjoy leading teams, this opportunity is for you! Key Responsibilities: Support daily store activities and assist in all store functions. Provide friendly and helpful customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns to create a positive shopping experience. Help organize and manage merchandise flow from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor. Maintain seasonal areas of the store to ensure they are appealing and well-stocked. Execute opening and closing procedures efficiently. Process corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information requests. Oversee promotional effectiveness of store displays and fixtures. Assist in ordering and processing merchandise, including managing damaged inventory. Maintain accurate record keeping, including payroll, scheduling, and cash register transactions. Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard company assets. Ensure the store is neat and organized according to company standards. Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, fostering a respectful and professional work environment. Keep the store clean and presentable, including restocking bathrooms and managing other facilities. Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to interpret and implement operational directives is required. Previous store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet the demands of frequent physical activity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to thrive in a high-energy, collaborative team environment. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
