Overview: As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will take charge of store operations and staff management in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Store Manager in maintaining cleanliness and organization both on the sales floor and in the stockroom. Set up sales and promotions efficiently, ensuring proper signage and timely execution. Oversee register functions, ensuring compliance with store policies. Manage merchandise presentation according to Visual Merchandising standards. Address customer merchandise needs and ensure the store's offerings meet these demands. Help the Store Manager with Markdown and Transfer processes to maintain inventory accuracy. Drive sales and profitability by motivating the team to achieve sales goals. Communicate operational goals to optimize team contributions. Monitor individual performance metrics including sales volume and loss prevention tactics. Assist in training associates on register operations and company policies. Ensure secure handling of company funds according to policies. Key Collaborators: Store Management Team Human Resources District Manager Asset Protection Team Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. 2+ years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar role. High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree is a plus. Able to respond to store alarm issues effectively. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proactive approach with problem-solving abilities. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 15-30 pounds. Skills & Success Factors: Passionate about the brand and streetwear culture.
