Overview: As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will oversee the store's staff and operations in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring a vibrant shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in maintaining store cleanliness to meet Company standards. Efficiently set up sales and promotions, ensuring timely and accurate signage. Process register functions with precision, maintaining compliance with company protocols. Execute floor set guides and promotions promptly. Collaborate with the Store Manager to uphold Visual Merchandising standards and product presentation. Understand customer merchandise needs and adjust offerings accordingly. Assist in the timely completion of markdowns and merchandise transfers. Lead efforts to drive sales and profitability, aiming to exceed store and individual sales goals. Communicate operational goals to maximize team contributions toward sales targets. Monitor and evaluate team performance in areas such as sales volume and customer engagement. Train associates on register and other operational functions accurately. Ensure company funds are secured as per policy. Key Partners Store Management Human Resources District Manager Asset Protection Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. 2+ years of experience in retail leadership, preferably as an Assistant Manager. High School Diploma or equivalent; a College degree is a plus but not mandatory. Able to respond to store alarm issues as needed. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong drive for achieving results. Initiative and problem-solving abilities are essential. Ability to stand for long periods and lift between 15-30 pounds.
