Join our dynamic team as a Retail Assistant Manager! We are looking for a motivated individual to assist with store operations, elevate customer service, and foster team development. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting daily store functions and activities effectively. Engaging with customers in a friendly manner, addressing any questions or concerns with confidence. Organizing and managing the transfer of merchandise from the delivery truck to the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring seasonal areas are well maintained. Performing opening and closing procedures as required. Implementing corporate directives accurately, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey requests. Maintaining the promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays. Assisting in ordering and processing merchandise, keeping meticulous records for payroll, scheduling, and cash register transactions, as well as managing loss prevention strategies. Ensuring the store areas are well-stocked and organized to meet company standards. Safeguarding all company assets, including maintaining security over store cash. Adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring all staff follow store policies. Helping the Store Manager in supervising, training, and mentoring Store Associates. Creating a positive and respectful work environment and providing professional interactions with customers, associates, and leadership. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and ensuring areas are presentable. Performing additional duties as assigned. Skills and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives is required. Previous store management experience in retail or similar environments is advantageous. Physical capability to lift up to 55 lbs., along with the ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and perform repetitive lifting tasks. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are essential. You should be able to thrive in a high-energy, team-driven environment, showcasing exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
