We are on the lookout for a passionate and proactive Retail Assistant Manager to enhance our store operations and customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Assisting with all daily store functions and ensuring smooth operations. Providing exceptional customer service and effectively addressing inquiries and concerns. Managing merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor, ensuring organized and well-maintained seasonal displays. Executing opening and closing procedures efficiently. Implementing corporate directives, including compliance tasks and communication regarding store activities. Enhancing promotional effectiveness of store displays and ensuring visual standards are met. Assisting with inventory management, recording payroll, scheduling, cash register transactions, and loss prevention efforts. Maintaining cleanliness and organization to meet company standards throughout the store. Safeguarding company assets, including cash and merchandise. Upholding safety policies and ensuring compliance among all store associates. Supporting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates. Fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members alike. Performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the store presentable. Carrying out additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; proficiency in reading and interpreting operational directives is required. Previous experience in retail or similar environment is a plus. Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and manage the demands of a dynamic workplace. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are essential. Ability to excel in a high-energy, team-oriented environment. Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are crucial. Proficient problem-solving skills and effective decision-making abilities.
